My PhD research focuses on applying computational biology techniques to analyze spatial transcriptomics and single-cell RNA sequencing data from neuroblastoma tumors. In collaboration with the Charité Pediatric Oncology Unit, we investigate tumor composition and dynamics, particularly within the tumor microenvironment (TME). Our aim is to understand how the TME remodels during relapse and to identify how these changes impact patient outcomes. By uncovering new biomarkers and therapeutic targets, we hope to gain valuable insights toward improving treatments for neuroblastoma.
